About Us, The Peasants Union Ticinesi

The various forest-agricultural societies arose during the second half of last century on, in 1885, the Company cantonale agriculture, and create the foundations of industry, trade union and corporate agriculture ticinese.

Later, in 1917, was the Secretary of agriculture, while in 1945 was founded the Peasants Union Ticinesi (UCT).

In this it reflects the heritage of the Canton Company of Agriculture and at the same time redefining their social identity, integration, along with organizations of a trade union (the agricultural and forestry companies which were the origin) the trade associations a commercial economic fate since the beginning of the century.

Today the UCT has 33 affiliated institutions, including the 9 regional corporations
