The wine cellar Cantina alla Maggia and the farm Terreni alla Maggia extend over about 100 ha of vineyards and fields in the municipalities of Ascona, Locarno and Gordola. The average altitude is 198 metres above sea level, the lowest area in Switzerland. Excellent wines and the first and only Swiss rice are produced here.
The farm's products, cultivated according to the rules of integrated production, are sold directly from the farm or shipped throughout Switzerland. They are also available daily in the company shop Enoteca Alimentare in Ascona.
Typical products: Wines (Merlot, Bondola, Kerner and Chardonnay), spirits (gin, whisky and grappa), rice, pasta, polenta. Various products with the Ticino label.
